Our goal: to understand what qualities make an IT department an exceptional place to work. Based on data gathered from the program’s employee surveys, an October 2012 Healthcare IT News special supplement will profile the top hospital IT departments nationwide. This supplement, published in print and online, will explore the qualities that define the top departments and look at how they maintain employee satisfaction during these turbulent times.

All IT departments that qualify for Where to Work: Best Hospital IT Departments will receive a free benchmark report. This feedback will show how your department scored in key categories such as leadership, workplace culture and compensation and how it compares to other departments.
